I am originally from a small town in South Dakota where at a young age I developed a passion for Football and weight lifting. Although I enjoyed some success in these areas, I sustained many injuries requiring multiple surgeries and many hours of physical therapy. These experiences inspired me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Black Hills State University, and a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Mayo School of Health Sciences. After graduating, I spent my first 3 years at Mayo Clinic creating and growing the Emergency Department Practice, and the past year and a half creating and growing a private practice in the Rochester community. Both of these settings have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally, and have helped me to become a more well rounded Physical Therapist.
As an individual that has suffered many injuries, I understand that finding the right provider and treatment can be confusing and overwhelming. I strive to remove the guess work by providing every patient with a 1 on 1 consultation and treatment experience. I listen to my patient’s concerns, collaborate with them to develop an individualized treatment plan that will help assist in successfully reaching their goals. As a Physical Therapist, I combine hands-on treatment with active exercise to help decrease pain and improve function. I am truly passionate about helping people get back to the things they love, and living a life without pain or limitations.
When I am not working, I enjoy being outside with my dogs, spending time with friends, watching football, reading books, and trying new workout routines and nutrition plans.
