I am originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, but grew up in Massachusetts (no, I do not have a Boston Accent). I would consider myself to have a unique combination of East Coast personality and Midwest values including hard work, community engagement, and perseverance.

My journey in healthcare began at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2014 followed by my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. I achieved a significant milestone by completing my orthopedic clinical specialist board certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists in 2021. This specialization reflects my commitment to providing high level evidence-based practice as well as top-notch care in orthopedic rehabilitation. I enjoy treating a wide variety of conditions but have a special interest in lower extremities (hip/knee/ankle).

I firmly believe in the transformative power that “exercise is medicine”. My goal is to empower patients to take control of their health by understanding the root of their condition and help them to implement tailored exercise/rehabilitation regimens. I incorporate a variety of manual therapy techniques (PNF, Dry Needling, IASTM) and neuromuscular re-education to facilitate the healing process and optimize outcomes for my patients. Creating an environment of compassion and listening to my patients’ needs is paramount to me.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I love spending time with my wife and our son. Together, we enjoy exploring the outdoors, engaging in amateur birding, gardening, hiking/stroller walks, and tackling various house projects. Staying active is not just a professional mantra but a personal passion. I participate in a range of endurance races ranging from cycling, road/trail running, triathlon, and cross-country skiing. Events like the Lutsen 99’er, Square Lake 70.3, American Birkebeiner, and other World Loppet ski races fuel my competitive spirit.
