Having orthopedic experience since 1999, I feel that too often therapy is unsuccessful because the focus is not on the underlying problem. My approach is centered on assessing and restoring the patient’s faulty mechanical patterns that lead to the true underlying cause of tissue injury, pain, and the loss of power and mobility during their activities.

I have a broad personal background in sports, including time as an internationally-ranked (FIS) Alpine Ski racer, all-state gymnast, diver, and multi-race marathon runner. I have coached gymnastics, ski racing and diving, and was physical therapist to women’s Olympic and World Cup US Ski Team members. I enjoy working with people of all ages and skill levels from non-athletes to professionals to return them to the activities they love.

Beyond Viverant, I enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities, and most of all spending time with my wife and son.
