I grew up in Mantorville, a small town in southeastern Minnesota. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth with a B.A.S. in Exercise Science. I then moved on to complete my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
I am passionate about treating active individuals, but specifically youth and women athletes. I strongly believe that anyone at any age can be an athlete with the right tools. My treatment style focuses on maintaining a balance between research, my clinical knowledge, as well as patient preference in order to create an individualized and patient centered approach to care. I utilize hands on manual therapy techniques, functional strengthening, and sport/activity specific training to help people return to the activities they love. I am also passionate about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and ensuring that a patient’s health is being addressed from all areas!
Outside of work I love to keep myself busy and spend much of my time surrounding myself with sports and the outdoors. I coach volleyball for a south metro club, as well as play indoor and outdoor volleyball. I also love going hiking and backpacking, golfing, weightlifting, skiing, playing spikeball, and taking my dog on all of the walks! I am Minnesota born and raised but I do enjoy traveling and seeing what other places have to offer.
