I grew up in the Minneapolis area throughout my childhood and attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks for my bachelor’s in health science and a minor in psychology. During my senior year at UND I began the PTA program at Northland Community College in East Grand Forks, Minnesota while finishing up my degree at UND.
My approach to care is to connect with each and every patient and to assist their journey to recovery to the best of my ability while keeping open communication and making steps forward each and every visit. I got into physical therapy because I have always been interested in exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. I know how important it is, mentally and physically, to feel as good as you can tackling whatever you need to get done in life.
Outside of work I enjoy staying active whether it’s going to the gym, golfing, playing hockey, or doing anything that gets me outside. I’m also huge Wild fan and enjoy watching and going to hockey games whenever possible, and I am looking forward to my first-year coaching boys’ hockey this winter.
