Nikki Williams, DPT

I received my bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, and earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. I was a member of the Women’s Swimming Team for 4 years at Gustavus Adolphus College. I grew up running and spending my time participating in numerous water sports in the summer. I became interested in physical therapy through my experience with sports-related injuries throughout high school and college. From this experience, I have gained an understanding of what it is like to be held back from injury and am passionate about helping patients return to their sports and activities.

I enjoy working with high school and college athletes, as well as the general population. I also have experience working with both pre-operative and post-operative orthopedic populations. I believe the key to a successful recovery is to treat the patient as a whole and customize their program to help them reach their goals. This includes educating the patient to allow them to fully understand their condition and the treatment process.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, being active outside, reading and spending time on the lake at my cabin with my husband and son.
