Carey Meehan, PT, MS

I have been practicing physical therapy for over 20 years. I gained my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from UW La Crosse in 2002, and I continue to have a passion for learning. During my time as a PT, I have pursued specialty training in many areas of orthopedics, pelvic health, and TMJ dysfunction. As time passed, seeing the void in pelvic health and the impact I could make with this group of patients, this became my passion. My areas of specialty include concerns associated with pregnancy and postpartum, urinary and bowel dysfunction, and pelvic pain in both men and women.

My biggest enjoyment in my career comes from connecting with my patients on a personal level. This better allows me to meet people where they are and work together on where they strive to be. I use a combination of a hands-on/manual approach, exercise, and easy lifestyle modifications to help my patients achieve their goals. I strive to make a treatment plan effective and manageable given the time constraints we all face.

When I am not at work, my husband and I chase our two active kids around with their various activities. I love to spend time outdoors gardening, running, walking my two golden retrievers, and traveling. The best part of having an active family is that they are always hungry, which brings out one of my biggest passions, cooking. I love to explore all different types of cooking, and I am always up for a new recipe.
